Just Finished: Mermaid In The Water

friendly reminder: click on any image on the blog for a larger view.

Mermaid In The Water
ACEO  2 1/2 x 3 1/2 Inches
Acrylics and Mixed Media

Just finished this one. I had to take a couple of trips to the scanner and uploaded a couple of time. It's that darned white acrylics. It's awful. It goes on white as a wedding gown and fades even after it dries! I hate that! Whatever. I fixed it as well as a spot I needed to edit, so she is ready.

It will be listed on ebay tonight (Sunday evening) as well as the other two listed below. Hope to see you there.

The Fairy Queen Of The North (aceo # 31)

The Fairy Queen Of The North (aceo # 31)
2 1/2 x 3 1/2 Inches
Acrylics

Falconry is the Fairy Queen's favorite sport. She adores her pet and spoils him with bits of tender meat whenever he pleases his mistress. He can barely take his eyes off her as she is not just the source of food and shelter, but the most beautiful radiant creature in this unforgiving terrain.

Here Is A Close Up...

I am using shiny acrylic paints to accent the jewelry and give the fairy a magical glow...

Here is another view...

As always, I ask you to please support my project by reviewing my Original Painting (click here)

The Elven Queen (aceo # 28)

The Elven Queen
2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches
Mixed media

The magi align the very fabric of reality into a pattern that suits the Elven kind. Their beautiful queen must sit at her throne and view the powerful colorful spectacle as a matter of protocol. The ageless monarch has seen the annual event hundreds of times so she is quite blase' about the whole affair. To keep from getting bored, she makes sure to have a fine book on hand of her favorite tales of adventure, one of the only luxuries she can afford now that she has so many responsibilities.

I hope you like this one. I sure do. I will make more and post as soon as I can. Much distraction at home. Must blaze a path to keep this project going! ;) Hope to see you back then...

This one will be listed tonight on a 5 day listing (click here to see it after 7 tonight)

Mermaid ACEO # 27

Mermaid ACEO # 27
2 1/2 x 3 1/2 Inches
Mixed Media

The beautiful Queen of the Mermaids coils comfortably in her coral bed kingdom. She sits with a regal grace as she meets the viewer's gaze. Light flickers down on the warm waters of her aquamarine realm.

This is the last of the mermaid series. Definitely NOT the last mermaid ACEO I will be doing; not even in the short term. I will be doing more mermaids and soon. I will simply be exploring other subjects from now on as well.

Things on the homefront are really full of upheaval, stress, and uncertainty. That was the major reason I haven't posted in a while.

I am in real need of funds so I will be listing them with a buy it now feature for a while. Click here if you are interested.
